When you walk into our office, you become part of our Phamily, and we can’t wait to get to know you. Meet the doctors and team who will work with you to achieve your goals. We want to make you smile at every visit.
Dr. Parnes discovered her passion for dentistry during her junior year at Cornell University, while interning at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She landed in the dental department, and realized that dentistry, specifically orthodontics, would allow her to solve problems with her hands, as well as get to know patients and make a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Parnes graduated first in her class from UPenn Dental and continued her orthodontic training at Temple University, where she focused her Master’s Thesis on Office Design — a passion of hers. Dr. Parnes is committed to continuing education and incorporating progressive technology that allows for efficient and excellent treatment results.
As a mom and former braces-wearer herself, Dr. Parnes loves to connect with patients of all ages and is grateful that private practice allows her the opportunity to do so. She and her husband go way back — all the way to kindergarten in the New York suburbs — and they are enjoying raising their children, Jacoby, Estie, and Hayes, on the Main Line.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, Dr. Rubin went on to earn her dental degree from Tufts University in Boston. She then stayed in Boston to complete a general dentistry residency focused on pediatric care, followed by a move to New York where she trained in full-mouth rehabilitation. After all of her advanced training in dentistry, Dr. Rubin chose to continue her studies and received her orthodontic certificate from Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Her advanced training in dentistry has enhanced her ability to treat complex orthodontic cases requiring interdisciplinary care, both in adolescents and adults.
Dr. Rubin is proud to be a faculty member at Albert Einstein’s Orthodontic Residency Program in Philadelphia. There, she conducts academic lectures as well as mentors the residents clinically as they move from residency into private practice. Dr. Rubin has been in private practice for several years in the Greater Philadelphia area before joining Dr. Parnes on the Main Line. She looks forward to coming to work every day and cherishes the relationships she forms with her patients and their families.
When not straightening teeth, Dr. Rubin enjoys riding her bike, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.

Meet our Phamily mascot (and tooth fairy pillow), Belle. In French, belle means beautiful and our Belle was born out of a commitment to provide beautiful smiles to our community. The impact of orthodontic treatment is life-changing. Research confirms the positive influence a beautiful smile has on self-confidence, self-esteem, and overall health.
Our practice name, Phamily Orthodontics, came from a desire to underscore the value we place on family and to pay homage to our city of Philadelphia. One of the most iconic symbols of Philadelphia is the Liberty Bell, which bears the timeless message, “Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All The Inhabitants thereof.” The Liberty Bell has been embraced by a variety of movements over the years to celebrate the concept of freedom and liberty, and our Belle represents our commitment to these values of equality.
Since its inception, Phamily Orthodontics has found ways to support our surrounding Main Line Community, especially its children. In an effort to reach those with the most severe needs, we have chosen patients of The Children’s Dental Clinic to receive free or low-cost orthodontic treatment. The Children’s Dental Clinic is a non-profit organization that provides dental care at reduced costs to eligible children living in the Tredyffrin-Easttown and Great Valley school districts (additional information can be found at http://www.kidsdentalclinic.org/).
In order to help the maximum number of children possible, we encourage you to purchase a Belle pillow. 100% of proceeds from from the purchase of a pillow will be used to extend our reach to provide the highest quality orthodontic treatment to recipients. Our hope is that each time your child loses a tooth and receives a visit from the tooth fairy, they will be reminded of how they have helped to provide braces to a child in need.
